Course Objective

The course aims to create the necessary background and context apprehension on geometry principles necessary for all kinds of designs in fashion accessories design discipline and drawing in order to create technical documents for exacting intended design without necessity for interpreting by third parties.

1   The student is expected to show progress in: Understanding principle geometries and their basic relations
2   Ability to analyze 2D geometry to its components
3   Ability to use basic technical drawing tools
4   Have control over concepts of size, measurement and scale
5   Ability to measure precisely

Any reference on basics of technical drawing is acceptable

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Within the course flow,
Students are expected to do geometric analysis of meaningful shapes and document the gathered information, male two dimensional scaled drawings. The are expected to create clear meaningful drawings with T square, rulers and compass and improve their technique with the referred tools. They are also expected to fill in missing geometries on an otherwise intentionally made wrong drawing.

Attendance is of utmost improtance.
Passing grade from the exams and orderly submissions made on time are required to pass.
