Course Objective

The purpose of that course is to inform students about basic concepts and theories in economics, especially national income, inflation, consumption, development, monetary and fiscal policy and foreign trade and enable students to interpret the current developments in the light of the basic knowledge in economics. 1

2   To be able to explain consumption function and investment function
3   To be able to make comparison between inflationary gap and deflationary gap
4   To be able to evaluate the relation between development and growth
5   To be able to compare and explain the characteristics of international monetary systems
