Course Objective

The Front Office and Housekeping Automation Systems course has the objective of making the students gain the ability and knowledge to use the basic central reservations systems used in today's hospitality industry, especially Opera.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Learn the basics of the central reservations systems in current hospitality industry.
2   Apply the usage of this system with the case examples on the computer.
3   Have the knowledge of using efficiently the reservations systems for blocking the reservations for the groups and individual customers.
4   Check and control the sales flow on this system.
5   Make the necessary reports with the system.
