Course Objective

The basic aim of the inventory and cost control automation course is to teach how to enter data through packages and how to reach information. Additionally, another objective of this course is to instruct how and in which way to get templates, documents, and automatic reports.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   . Will be able to have information about the packages and computer modules, used in tourism industry.
2   Will be able to learn how to enter data into computer.
3   Will be able to learn how to get data in the computer and analyze those data.
4   Will be able to learn how to reach templates and forms which are necessary for the company, and interpret the information.
5   Will be able to learn to get reports, which are produced at the end of all those transactions, on time.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The course is instructed by separately showing how each module s applications (material management, purchase management, accounting management, etc.) are conducted after installing related ERP programs (LOGO Go Plus, etc.) into each computer in the lab.
