Course Objective

To strengthen the muscles on the cushion or on the specially designed devices, increase flexibility and improve the general health of the body,maintain the integrity of the mind and body, improve the balance-coordination by strengthen the center of the body (core), help to facilitate the body to get a beter recognition itself , and to transfer those benefits to everyday life

1   To improve the quality of life, and create a healthy emotional / physical environment to create
2   To undrstand the basics / the principles of of physical activity
3   To develop the understanding of physical fitness around all sectors of society
4   To provide the components associated with health-strife (muscle balance, strength and flexibility balance, range of motion such as width)
5   To design different methods of physical fitness by using different materials and its applications in relation to exercise before, during and after exercise.

Course Contents

1 What is Pilates, history of Pilates, Pilates principles: breathing, concentration, control, centering, perfection, balanced muscle development, rhythm, movement of the body as a whole, and the relaxation
2 Core activation, natural spine, abdominal strength, lumbopelvic stabilization, and mobilization of the spine strengthening, scapular stabilization and mobilization, correction of alignment, relaxing work, muscle flexing.
3 Issues to consider in Pilates training, and the risk factors
4 Core activation exercises Pelvic floor study (Kegels)
5 Neutral pelvic exercises Abdominal exercises to improve strength
6 Pelvic Stabilization Mobility and strength of the spine Scapular stabilization and mobilization
7 Alignment The ideal posture alignment Common alignment anomanileri
8 Relaxation exercises Stretching
9 Pilates and pregnancy guidelines Pilates group lessons and issues to be considered
10 Introduction to Reformer Working principles and the principles of actions that should be given importance.
11 Reformer Preparation of floor motions. Using a variety of materials, pilates (mini ball, pilates ball)
12 Reformer Preparation of Basic and intermediate levels of exercises Using a variety of pilates materials, (circle, theraband) Reformer Preparation of advanced floor exercises
