Course Objective

Students are intended to learn common lung diseases and physiotherapy techniques used in these diseases comprehensively, and ability to creating and performing appropriate physiotherapy and exercise program to each lung disease.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knows anatomy and physiology of the respiratory system.
2   Knows important respiratory diseases and their pathophysiologies.
3   Knows and interprets physiotherapy assessment for respiratory diseases and keeps records.
4   Composes and applies patient-specific physiotherapy and rehabilitation program for respiratory diseases.
5   Knows and applies physiotherapy and rehabilitation applications for respiratory diseases at intensive care unit.
6   Communicates patient and patient s family and gives them information about physiotherapy
