Course Objective

To provide information to the students about kinesiology and biomechanics of the locomotors system and improve the ability of integrating of this information into their clinical practice.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   By the end of the module students will be able to define the concepts of orthopaedic biomechanics.
2   By the end of the module students will be able to define biomechanical properties and pathomechanics of bone, cartilage and soft tissue
3   By the end of the module students will be able to define biomechanical properties and pathomechanics of upper extremity joints.
4   By the end of the module students will be able to define biomechanical properties and pathomechanics of lower extremity joints.
5   By the end of the module students will be able to define biomechanical properties and pathomechanics of spinal and pelvic joints.By the end of the module students will be able to define biomechanical properties and pathomechanics of spinal and pelvic joints.
