Course Objective

The aim of this course is to have the stuıdents acquire knowledge and skill in rehabilitatio approaches in prosthetics and orthotics

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Student may define functional status according to amputation levels and orthotic needs
2   Student may plan the comprehensive rehabilitation
3   Student may select and apply prostheses and orthoses considering optimal conditionsa
4   Student may define differewnt approaches within the rehabilitation program
5   Student may conduct rehabilitation and prosthetic and orthotic training processes

9 General principles in prosthetic rehabilitation
10 Rehabilitation in partial hand wrist, below elbow and elbow disarticulation prostheses
11 Rehbailitation in above elbow and shoulder disarticulation prosthees
12 Rehabilitation in partial foot, and below knee prostheses
13 Rehabilitation in knee disart. above knee and hip disarticulation prostheses
14 Rehabilitation in congenital amputations
