Course Objective

The aim of this lecture is to have the student acquire knowledge in special orthotic applications and follow developments.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The student may define different prosthetics components for higher activity levels
2   The student may define prosthesis for appropriate activity levels
3   The student may conduct assessment and evaluations to determine activity level and appropriate prosthesis.
4   The student may define and conduct amputee rehabilitation and prosthetic training.
5   The student may follow relevant literature and advanced laboratory studies.
