Course Objective

The aim of this lecture is to have the student acquire knowledge and skill in upper extremity amputation pathomechanics, appropriate material and prosthetic selection and rehabilitation approaches

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The student may define functional status according to amputation levels.
2   The student may define components of upper extremity prosthesis
3   The student may select and apply prosthesis considering optimal conditions.
4   The student may define differences between pediatric and adult populations in the aspect of prosthesis
5   The student may define and conduct rehabilitation and prosthetic training processes.
