Course Objective

to have theoretical knowledge about table tennis. to able to play table tennis and create a culture of sport

1   to describe historical development of table tennis in the world and in Turkey
2   to explain the tools and rules of the game of table tennis
3   to able to play doubles game
4   to get knowledge about physical and physiological demands of table tennis
5   to able to use basic techniques

1 historical development of table tennis in Turkey and in the World and rules of the game
2 introducing of tools and alignment with ball and racket
3 backhand and forehand techniques
4 bouncing ball
5 the game of hand-eye coordination
6 forehand and backhand practise against the wall
7 forehand and backhand services on the table
8 forehand and backhand dribbling
9 the system of single game
10 the system of doubles game
11 playing faster
12 Spin, cutting applications, block and defense
