Course Objective

Objectives of this course are to make the students master the history of volleyball; court and equipment knowledge; playing rules and also to teach them ball handling exercises, educational games and basic skills (underhand pass, overhead pass, serve, dive) related with novice volleyball players.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Explaining the history of volleyball.
2   Gaining court and equipment knowledge, expressing basic playing rules,preparing educational games related with novice players and making the players to perform these games.
3   Understanding the progressive teaching of front overhead pass, jump, back overhead pass
4   Understanding the progressive teaching of front, back and lateral underhand pass.
5   Understanding the progressive teaching of underhand and tennis serve
