Course Objective

Objectives of this course are to teach students the details of training planning, press defense types (the most preferred defence types by the teams in present-day basketball) and press breaks against them theory and in practice. To develop the students offensive and defensive team system creating skills; creating strategies in special cases and analysing the opponent via using computer.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being capable of analyse and interpreting a basketball team on computer.
2   Being capable of training planning in basketball.
3   Mastering and teaching the press defense types and their general principals.
4   Mastering and teaching the press break principles against the press defense types.
5   Being capable of creating offensive and defensive strategies in special cases.
6   Mastering and teaching the transition offense principles.
7   Being capable of create game strategy via create team systems in the offense and defense.
