Course Objective

The student who completed this course got knowledge about the physiological changes in cardiopulmonary and musculoskeletal system of the healthy individuals and patients with different clinical pulmonary problems at rest and exercises. He/she conceives the integration of the advanced exercises physiology knowledge with pulmonary rehabilitation content.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Know physiological responses occurred in body systems by the exercises and at the rest
2   Define the acute and chronic changes occurred by exercises in pulmonary diseases
3   Know aerobic exercise responses in pulmonary disease
4   Know anaerobic exercise responses in pulmonary disease
5   Define musculoskeletal influence in pulmonary disease
6   Integrate his/her knowledge of advanced exercise physiology with pulmonary rehabilitation content
