Course Objective

The aim of this course is to examine main concepts related to memory, remembering and forgetting, intelligence, thought and language, emotion, lifespan development, personality; health, stress and coping, psychological disorders, therapies, and social psychology.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to describe basic concepts in relation to psychology. 2   Being able to describe main theories in relation to psychology. 3   Being able to summarize basic principles in relation to different subfields of psychology discipline. 4   Being able to explain the relationships between different subfields of psychology and other related disciplines. 5   Being able to compare the differences and similarities between psychology and other disciplines.
