Course Objective

This course aims to examine the diagnostic criteria, differential diagnoses, epidemiological and etiological properties of, treatment approaches to and various case examples for psychiatric disorders classified in DSM-V. Schizophrenia Spectrum and Other Psychotic Disorders; Dissociative Disorders; Somatic Symptom and Related Disorders; Feeding and Eating Disorders; Elimination Disorders; Sexual Dysfunctions; Gender Dysphoria; Paraphilic Disorders; Disruptive, Impulse-Control, and Conduct Disorders; Substance-Related and Addictive Disorders; Personality Disorders will be covered in the framework of this course.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to list diagnostic criteria of psychological disorders included in the course framework
2   Be able to explain differential diagnoses of psychological disorders included in the course framework
3   Be able to explain epidemiological properties of psychological disorders included in the course framework
