Course Objective

Examination of the basic concepts of physiological psychology, brain regions and structures, nervous system, and the relationships between physiological, cognitive, and psychological processes. Nervous communications; Central and auxiliary nervous systems; Brain regions and structures; Hormones; The relationships between physiological, cognitive, and psychological processes

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to define basic physiological psychology concepts
2   Be able to explain the functions of different brain regions and brain structures
3   Be able to explain physiology of nervous system
4   Be able to explain the function and effects of the endocrinological system
5   Be able to discuss the relationships among physiological, cognitive, and psychological processes
