Course Objective

To understand the psychological underpinnings, roots, and consequences of political behavior and political phenomena by applying basic theories of cognitive processes and social relations that were originally developed by psychology.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to define basic concepts related to the political psychology.
2   Be able to explain theories and concepts of the political psychology.
3   Be able to give examples in relation to concepts of the political psychology.
4   Be able to describe the relationship of the political psychology to different subfields of psychology.
5   Be able to follow current research in the political psychology and being able to contribute to the scientific development of the area.
