Course Objective

The aim of this course is to examine the experimental designs used in social psychology research and research examples, to make students to prepare a research proposal on the basis of scientific methodology.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to define basic concepts related to experimental designs used in social psychology.
2   Being able to explain the relationship between the purpose of the study and research methodology
3   Being able to give examples for experimetal designs used in social psychology.
4   Being able to describe the importance of experimental research in social psychology for different subfields of psychology.
5   Being able to pursue and contribute to current research in social psychology.
