Course Objective

Ability to carry 21st century pattern trends onto model based on designing items and establish surface design of 2 dimensional forms based on relationships of model-pattern-scale.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Student s ability to, Be aware of multiculturalism on 21st century patterns
2   Transfer what is present in daily life to patterns
3   Notice tastes of culture of new urban consumer
4   Interpret designs of urban fashion item and cosmopolitic features of designing traditions all over the world
5   Combine traditions of unique and distinctive surface designs with contemporary Technologies
6   Search for native and foreign literature using material and technique and present it in written and oral ways

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

1. Lecturing and participation of students in lecture: Staff member is to convey prepared texts to students through visual processes, after which a discussion medium is created.
2. Research Subjects and Presentations: students who have received research subjects on lecture are to prepare what they have learned within their subjects under related expertises with a discussion medium being created.
3. Applications: Enabling students to transfer what they have learned in related scientific fields to practical skills and analise therein.
