Course Objective

Examining the interaction of ceramics forms with the environment in the theoretical context and examining the reflection of cultural items on ceramic forms.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. To be able to recognize ceramic production methods of different cultures,
2   2. To be able to analyze the reflection of cultural values on ceramic forms,
3   3. To be able to examine the connection between traditional ceramic forms and art,

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The instructor informs the student about the topic with course notes and various visuals and asks the students to prepare a written and visual presentation that includes the research of ceramic forms and cultural items in that form. After each presentation a discussion environment is created and the subject is reinforced.
