Course Objective

The aim is to have knowledge about the design process and formative methods of the student in terms of both function and technique from studying traditional and current examples, to make creative and original new designs suitable for the field by supporting the shaping methods with intellectual accumulation.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The instructor informs the student about the topic and gives general information about the methods of shaping traditional and contemporary designs. The student is required to investigate and examine innovations for designing, shaping and production within the scope of the project. The results of the research are discussed together with the instructor in the classroom so that different suggestions related to the topic are revealed. The student is required to make original designs which are supported by written and visual references, linked to research and design and prepare a presentation
