Course Objective

Students are also taking advantage of the characteristics of the structure and meaning of prepositions, to bring the level to translate texts in Arabic.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Makes translation from Arabic to Turkish.
2   Learn Arabic translation of formulaic sequences; applies.
3   Learn the grammatical characteristics of Arabic and Turkish.
4   Learn to translation errors.
5   Expression alone is insufficient literal translation, the purpose of the main language defining feature refinements carries learn about it.

Further Notes About Assessment Methods

Midterm and Final Exam:
In Mid-term and final exam, the students are asked questions in classical style about resources of Arabic language and literature and their salient features.

Homework:
The student prepares a composition about the resources of a particular period, or works on specific areas such as Arabic grammar, rhetoric, literature, or subject dealing with language schools, persons and books, and then presents this composition in printed output.

Assessment Criteria

The students will be assessed based on success in their mid-term, homework assignment and final exams along with their performance during the classes throughout the semester.
