Course Objective

The aim of this course is to help the learners to understand HR function within today s organizations, be helpful in making future HR decisions. It provides useful and accurate information on HR-Related responsibilities and personnel management. It examines the acceptance and integration of the human resources function as a full business partner. And the higher expectations placed on human resources to make a significant contribution to the successful management of the organization.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Analyze the concept of labor or human capital of the organization viewed as an investment.
2   Develop ways in which human resource management might diagnose a business strategy and facilitate accomplishing this strategy.
3   Explain the key challenges to HRM in developing the flexible and skilled workforce needed to compete effectively.
4   Combine HR practices into an overall employee involvement and productivity.
5   Develop oral/written communication skills; articulate and defend his/her position
6   Develop and enhance the essential interpersonal skills to be an effective team member
