Course Objective

Clinical basis of circadian rhythms and their chronobiologic foundations, physiological changes occurring in sleep, cardiovascular physiology in sleep, respiratory physiology in sleep, sexual functioning in sleep, endocrinological changes in sleep, immune system in sleep, gastrointestinal system in sleep, changes occurring in the nervous system in sleep

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To have knowledge on the mechanism and chronobiology of sleep and circadian rhythms
2   To have knowledge about the changes occurring in the nervous system, cardiovascular system, respiratory system urogenital system, endocrine system, gastrointestinal system and immune system during sleep.
