Course Objective

The objective of this course is to introduce rhetoric figures and their use and functions in literary texts.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   At the end of this course, the students will be able; To use rhetorical modes and methods in text production and analysis,
2   To analyze the relationship between rheotircs and text types,
3   To use their knowledge about types of speech,
4   To do text analysis and text production by using different styles and registers;
5   To utilize their knowledge concerning intertextual, intermedial and intercultural interaction in the frame of rhetorics.
