Course Objective

The objective of this course is to analyse Aristotle s Poetics and to study its history of reception.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   At the end of this course, the student will be able; to distinguish Aristotle s notion of art.
2   to do analysis and synthesis.
3   to relate art, science and action.
4   to use terminology related with his/her discipline.
5   to use his/her knowledge of the history of art and literature.
