Course Objective

The objective of this course is to analyse the concept of aesthetics, to examine the conditions of aesthetics of reception in different periods in accordance with the main artistic, literary and philosophic movements.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   At the end of this course, the students will be able; to distinguish the differences of the aesthetics of reception under historical and cultural conditions.
2   to compare the dynamics of aesthetics of reception from different periods.
3   to recognize the changes in the dynamics of aesthetics of reception.
4   to evaluate by rendering the concept of aesthetics in the context of the respective period´s conditions.
5   to distinguish the changing conditions of aesthetics of reception.
