Course Objective

Oncology: past, present, mechanisms of carcinogenesis, cancer etiology, cancer and hereditary, cancer epidemiology, tumor immunology, preneoplastic lesions and carcinoma in situ, tumor classification, tumor staging, diagnostic methods for tumor pathology, cytopathology in the diagnosis of tumor location, common clinical findings and diagnostic methods in cancer for adulds and children, cancer early detection and screening, cancer prevention, The basic principles of cancer surgery, The basic principles of radiation oncology, the basic principles of chemotherapy, and side effects of chemotherapy, hormone therapy, and biological response modifier general principles,
General principles of cell and gene therapy, stem cell therapy, bone marrow transplantation general principles.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to know the etiology of cancer
2   Be able to know cancer epidemiology.
3   Be able to understand mechanism of carcinogenesis
4   Capable of prepare and present oral and written presentations in the field of cancer epidemiology.
5   Be able to multidisciplinary work in cancer.
6   Be able to critically evaluates the published literature in the field of epidemiology.
