Course Objective

The course objective is to study semiotic transfer and similarities, topics and motives in screen adaptations of literary works in the light of related theories.

1   to distinguish similarities and differences between literature and film.
2   to evaluate film from the aspect of literature.
3   to analyze the reflections of literary motives on film.
4   to analyze the reflections of literary topics on film.
5   to employ the theoretical perspectives to literature and film.
