Course Objective

This course aims to analyze Western and non-Western literary works through a theoretical viewpoint and within the context of world literature s the historical development process.

1   To distinguish the main aspects of world literature s historical development.
2   To use a critical perspective.
3   To use his/her knowledge concerning the postcolonial theory.
4   To use his/her knowledge concerning some major works of non-European areas.
5   To analyze the relations of center-periphery in literature.
