Course Objective

This course aims to analyze literary texts, particularly novels and plays produced after the First and Second World Wars, through close readings in the light of literary theories.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To use his/her reading and expression skills in French.
2   To use his/her knowledge of French culture and literature.
3   To employ literary theory upon French literature.
4   To use his/her close reading skills.
5   To use his/her knowledge about the postwar traumas on personal and social levels and efforts of overcoming them in literature.
