Course Objective

Students will be informed of the issue of global distribution systems and making arranging tickets using these systems is to gain the ability to execute the ticketing process.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Understand the importance of information systems in tourism
2   Have knowledge about the main airways, ticketing rules, regulations, geography and codes
3   Being able to analyze and implement the ticketing process
4   Have knowledge about global distribution system
5   Being able to achieve steps to ticketing
6   Being able to make calculation of single-trending price, going turn price and special price
7   Being able to make reservation using automated ticketing programs and creating of Passenger Name Record (PNR)
