Course Objective

Recognising the role of tourism and leisure in advancing debates within the social sciences, this course has the aim of providing new research agendas in the field of tourism and leisure research.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to evaluate opportunities and threats for tourism in Turkey.
2   To be able to analyze global tourism movements and changes in customer expectations.
3   To be able to explain factors affecting tourism demand.
4   To be able to understand current problems encountered in tourism sector and discuss new approaches.
5   To be able to evaluate tourism strategies of Turkey and their impacts on the sector.
