Course Objective

It is to apprehend the fundamental views of current social theorists and to look at the problems of modern societies from a theoretical frame.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to apprehend the relation between theory and science
2   Develope theoretical views by establishing relations between the current social
3   Apprehend the importance of social theories for understanding the present
4   Be able to explain the differences between the current social theorists
5   Be able to concentrate on the contemporary social, economic and political
