Course Objective

Physiology is described, the basic of animal physiology from the most primitive to the most developed. The skeleton, digestive, cardiovascular, respiratory, kidney, nerves, hormones systems are explained. Taste, smell, hearing and equilibrium, vision, general senses mechanisms are explained. The knowledge is given about physicological systems in vertebrata, invertebrata

7   To recognize respiration mechanisms in animal world

1 The description and principles of physiology, homeostasis, body control systems, cell functions
2 The digestive system in vertebrate and invertebrate animals, the control of digestion enzyms and secretions
3 The hearth structure of vertebrate, invertebrate animals and human, veins, arteries, systemic circulation, lymphatic system
4 The respiratory system in vertebrates, the respiratory mechanism in human and neural control of respiration
5 The excretory system in vertebrate and invertebrates, types of kidney, kidney in human, structure of nephron, composition of urine, neural and hormonal control of excretion
6 Characteristics of blood, erythrocyte, leucocyte and platelets
7 Structure of skin in vertebrates, the skin in human, motion system in vertebrates and invertebrates
8 Midterm exam
9 The reproduction system in vertebrates and invertebrates.
10 Male and female reproduction system in human.
11 Nervous system in vertebrates
12 Central nervous system in human
13 Peripheric nervous system in human
