Course Objective

The aim of the course is to get the students acquainted with history of zoology, define of scientific branches in zoology; Chemistry of cell (inorganic and organic molecules); The cell: protoplasm, organelles, nucleus, cell division and protein synthesis; Organization of living things: Histology (epithelia tissue, connective tissue, muscular tissue, nervous tissue); reproduction: asexual, sexual; Classifications of animals.

3   Associated with nucleus to the function of the cell organelles

1 History of zoology, define of Zoology, branches of zoology -Live-alive, animal-plant concepts
2 Types of symmetry in animals, axis, planes -The chemical structure of protoplasm
3 Protoplasm -Inorganic and organic compounds in protoplasm (carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, nucleotides and derivatives)
4 The physical state of protoplasm -Cell, prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells, -General morphology of cell
5 Cell membrane, structural features of organelles within cytoplasm with light and electron microscope
6 Nucleus and structural features of the structures within nucleus with light and electron microscope Chromosome formation -Giant chromosomes
7 The cell division, amitosis division Mitosis and meiosis divisions -The cell cycle
8 Midterm
9 Asexual and sexual reproduction types
10 Embryology (Egg types, developing of the fertilized egg, or zygote)
11 Organization of animals Tissues: Epithelial tissue
12 Types of connective tissue (Loose and dense connective tissues, adipose, cartilage, bone and blood
13 Muscle and nerve tissues
14 Classifications of animals
