Course Objective

To determine the principles of utility maximization and profit maximization of micro units in economics and to seek some methods as to increase individual and social welfare.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to explain charging good and service prices in economics.
2   To be able to determine the principles of consumers utility maximization.
3   To be able to determine the principles of producers profit maximization.
4   To be able to analyse the mechanisms of charging price comparatively in the different markets.
5   To be able to determine the principles of efficiency on consumption and production.
