Course Objective

Business economics refers to the application of economic theory and the tools of decision science to examine how an organization can achieve its aims or objectives most efficiently. This course provides a general discussion on a wide variety of microeconomic topics, with a slant toward how firm managers apply the information to business problems.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students will be able to explain the basic concepts of managerial economics.
2   Students will be able to solve the issues pertaining to managerial economics.
3   Students will be able to use the tools of economic analysis to various business related problems.
4   Students will be able to comprehensively analyze consumer behavior and hence the demand side of the market.
5   Students will be able to analyze the production decision of the firm under various market condition.
