Course Objective

This course aims to deepen the knowledge of students on management of channels of distribution and enhance them with abilities to analyze the distribution channel problems using analytical marketing modeling tools and techniques to coordinate distributors, retailers, and other intermediaries to deliver products, services, and information to customers.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Ability to conceptualize the relationship between logistics and distribution channels.
2   Ability to explain the relations between channel members.
3   Ability to abstract the requirements for ideal distribution channel design that depend on different variables
4   Ability to develop analytical models coordinate distribution channels for goods and services.
