Course Objective

To have a comprehensive understanding and achieve expertise in the systematic analysis of disease phenotypes in animals, and their correlation with human disease.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   to describe the structure and function of organs in animals and humans (gross anatomy).
2   to explain the tissue characteristics by microscopic analysis (histopathology and immunohistochemistry).
3   to discuss the mechanisms of diseases at morphomolecular level.
4   to compare and contrast different types of disease mechanisms in animals and humans.
5   to plan a tissue-based research in comparative pathology
