Course Objective

The aim of this course, to bring up the students to be able to prepare organic-based commercial products, do isolation from natural compounds, devise synthesis strategy of a compound by using the general organic reaction mechanisms, perform the synthesis of a compound by using the general organic reaction mechanisms and apply recognition tests of compounds classes and able to interpret the results.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   At the end of this course, the students are able to Prepare organic-based commercial products.
2   At the end of this course, the students are able to Do isolation from natural compounds.
3   At the end of this course, the students are able to Devise synthesis strategy of a compound by using the general organic reaction mechanisms.

Student will be evaluated by the midterm exam, the issues assessment exam and final exam questions, homework and laboratory work.

During the semester, the responsibility to continues 80% of the courses is student s self-owned. Maximum two compensate experiments can be done. Must be observed the specified time about laboratory times and laboratory rules. Unethical behavior that may occur on exams, will be acting within the framework of the relevant regulations.
