Course Objective

In this lecture the students will learn the biochemical processes profoundly influenced by chemical species in the environment, detection, importance and the nature of these species and their degradation.

1   Explain the basic concepts of environmental biochemistry,
2   Comprehend the principles of biochemical processes which are used in the environmental biochemistry,
3   Explain the degradation processes of chemical species in the environment,
4   State the detection methods of degradation metabolites,
5   Explain the importance of degradation metabolites.
