Course Objective

This course provides students a broader understanding of corporate and personnel affairs of retail Industry and enables them to theoretically apply all the steps included in running a store. The strategic management of store business, and personnel resources in retail businesses is examined by different perspectives. It is also aimed to demonstrate an understanding of necessary leadership skills in retail business.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Demonstrate an awareness of corporate affairs processes within retail industry,
2   To recognize diverse parts of personnel management and analyze the relationship with each other and how they work together and come up with a success,
3   To develop appropriate skills for running a store,
4   To have an understanding of the idea of productivity in retail industry,
5   To analyze the impact of customer relations on market success,
6   Demonstrate high verbal and written communication skills through report writing and oral presentations.
