Course Objective

This elective course aims to introduce classic and contemporary theories, concepts and debates relevant to Asian politics, economics, security, culture and society.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To identify and explain the main issues in Asian politics, economics and security in order to be able to track and explain its evolution in recent years.
2   To evaluate the outcomes of main problems and issues in Asia to relate them to the rest of international affairs.
3   To acquire the required ESL skills for communication.
4   To use presentation skills.
5   To work independently.
