Course Objective |
To introduce the students of mechanical engineering English as a foreign language to be used throughout their career. To present a broad introduction to the language and terminology of mechanical engineering. To give the students knowledge on how machines / mechanisms work and the principles they depend on. To enable students to understand, predict, describe, explain and compare their ideas in English. |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
Students attend classes prepared to the subject beforehand. The class is mostly carried out by students by translating texts or answering questions / doing exercises, with the lecturer explaining the necessary items. Students are graded according to their midterm, quiz, project and class participation performance. Subjects are supported by up to date documents and videos. |
