Course Objective

With Radiotherapy Physics Course the students learn the basic physical quantities that used to calculate time according to radiation dose to be applied to the patient and able to apply specified dose to the patient safely.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To know how dose distributions occur, when different radiation types and energies interact with tissue.
2   To know how basic physical quantities are used to determine the dose given to the patient.
3   To calculate time or MU manualy by using dosimetric data.
4   To know effects of changes in area, distance and radiation energies to the applied dose.
