Course Objective

To determine the concepts of nonlinear regression models and qualitative regression (logit / probit) models, to learn time series and panel data econometrics, to advance knowledge about econometric package programs and to decide which econometric methods to use when analyzing economic facts.

1   Students will be able to define basic econometric concepts
2   Students will be able to solve basic econometric problems
3   Students will be able to use basic econometric estimation methods
4   Students will be able to economically formulate economic issues
5   Students will be able to design and conclude an empirical project
