Course Objective |
Theory and related information on GRP systems found in the text books are realtively limited and until recent years it was virtually impossible to find a method logical approach to its applications. Unfortunately most of the leterature seen in the specialist marine magazines are published by non-scientific people and are comprised of "rules of thumbs". The aim of this course is to draw a general overview of chemistry of polyester resines with structure of reinforcements and enhances syllabus with methods of "designing with fiberglass" giving consideration to Regulatory Body requirements. |

Attendance: Students are required to attend every class. Attendance will be taken at the beginning of the each class. Plagiarism: Plagiarism will be reported to Academic Judiciary Board and can result in getting zero on the assignment. All assignments are due at the beginning of the class.
