Course Objective

A basic understanding of computer networks. Network structure and the ISO-OSI reference model. Circuit switching, packet switching, network topology, bandwidth analysis, delay analysis. Layers (layers): transmission and multiplexing, LAN errors, Ethernet, Token Ring networks, protocols, basic network topology
